Unlimited AI Coaching on Your Deals: Connect Your Own Anthropic Key to LienSuite
Cade is LienSuite's AI advisor for curative title, tax lien, and excess proceeds deals. Plug in your own Anthropic API key and you get unlimited coaching conversations at wholesale rates — we take zero markup.
Cade is the AI advisor built into LienSuite — an expert coach for curative title, tax lien, excess proceeds, and heir property deals. For investors who want to lean on Cade every single day, we built a way to remove the daily message cap entirely: bring your own Anthropic API key, pay wholesale rates directly, and chat with Cade as much as you want.
This is the same "BYOK" pattern we rolled out for Twilio SMS. The idea is simple: platforms that bundle AI into a subscription usually mark it up 5–10x. We let you skip the middleman and use the Anthropic API directly, with LienSuite doing the heavy lifting of prompt engineering, state-specific knowledge, and case context.
What Is Cade?
Cade is an AI coach trained on the complete body of curative title and distressed property investing knowledge: Logan Fullmer's DPA framework, McKlane Bobbitt's messy title wholesaling, the legal landscape for tax sales across all 50 states, excess proceeds post-Tyler v. Hennepin, heir property and UPHPA, quiet title actions, probate workflows — the whole stack.
Unlike a generic chatbot, Cade is built into LienSuite. When you open Cade on a specific case, he sees the actual case data: the property, the county, the tax status, the owner situation, the pipeline stage, the skip trace results. He gives you hyper-specific advice grounded in your actual deal, not generic "it depends" answers.
Every LienSuite user gets Cade with a daily message cap. That's plenty for most people. But if you're in Cade every day, working a dozen deals in parallel, role-playing heir calls, working through quiet title strategy in three different states — you want the cap gone.
How Bring-Your-Own-Key Works
When you save an Anthropic API key inside LienSuite Settings, Cade starts using your key for every conversation. Anthropic bills you directly for the tokens you consume. We don't mark it up, we don't batch it, we don't see your billing. You control usage, spending caps, and key rotation from the Anthropic console.
The three-minute setup:
- Create a free account at console.anthropic.com
- Add a payment method (and optionally set a monthly spending cap)
- Generate an API key at console.anthropic.com/settings/keys
- Paste the key into LienSuite Settings → "Cade AI (Unlimited)" and click Save
That's it. The daily cap disappears immediately.
What Does It Actually Cost?
Cade runs on Claude Sonnet, Anthropic's mid-tier model. Pricing is per token (roughly per word):
- Input tokens: ~$3 per million
- Output tokens: ~$15 per million
A typical Cade conversation sends around 2,000–4,000 tokens of case context (your case data, Cade's system prompt, prior conversation) and gets back 200–500 tokens in response. That works out to somewhere between 1 cent and 3 cents per message.
Real-world estimates for active investors:
| Usage Pattern | Messages / Day | Estimated Monthly Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Light use (a few deals reviewed weekly) | 5–10 | $2–$4 |
| Moderate use (daily case triage) | 20–40 | $6–$12 |
| Heavy use (full-time investor, role-plays, deep research) | 100+ | $20–$30 |
Most investors who turn on BYOK spend less than $10 a month and get unlimited coaching. Compared to a traditional curative title mentorship program at $10K–$40K, the math is obvious.
Why Not Just Raise the Cap for Everyone?
Two reasons.
First, it keeps pricing fair. If we raised the built-in cap and priced LienSuite to cover unlimited AI for every user, we'd be charging the light users to subsidize the heavy users. BYOK lets each investor pay for exactly the usage they want, and the people who barely use Cade aren't funding the people who use it constantly.
Second, it gives you full control. When you own the key, you own the billing, the rate limits, and the ability to switch it off. You can set a $10/month cap and know you'll never exceed it. You can share a team key across your company. You can rotate it without asking us.
Security
Your key is stored encrypted inside LienSuite's database and is only ever sent to Anthropic's API when Cade needs to respond to you. We don't use your key for anything else. You can remove it from Settings at any time, or revoke it from the Anthropic console directly — both work instantly.
If you're using LienSuite as part of a team, each user saves their own key independently. If you want to centralize billing, generate a single key in Anthropic and have each team member paste it into their own Settings.
What BYOK Covers (and What It Does Not)
BYOK unlocks unlimited Cade conversations inside LienSuite at liensuite.com. That includes:
- Cade chat on every case detail page
- Deal Math calculations and pursue/pass recommendations
- Call script generation, role-play practice, outreach letter drafting
- State-specific legal framework questions across all 50 states
It does not affect Cade in the LienSuite Discord community. Discord Cade has its own limits tied to your Discord role — Free users get 3 messages/day, Pro members get 10 in public channels, and Pro members have unlimited access in the private #pro-deals channel. BYOK is strictly for the in-app Cade experience where Cade can see your actual case data.
Getting Started
If you're already a LienSuite user, you can set this up in about three minutes:
- Open Settings and scroll to the Cade AI (Unlimited) section
- Click through to Anthropic, create an API key, and paste it back
- Start chatting with Cade on any case
Full walkthrough with screenshots lives in the in-app documentation.
If you're not a LienSuite user yet, Cade is available on every plan — the BYOK option just unlocks unlimited messages on top of whatever plan you're on. Sign up at liensuite.com.
